As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages, with a focus on adult and NICU populations. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the best outcomes for patients requiring specialized respiratory support.
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting
- Utilize equipment such as Drager, Jet, and Oscillator ventilators
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float across different units throughout the hospital as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using EPIC EMR
Requirements:
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
- NBRC certification required
- IA/Iowa Respiratory license highly preferred; licensing candidates accepted
- Experience with Level III NICU within the last 15 months required
- Must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months
- Driver's License required
