Required Skills:
- Current valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification
- Proven experience in clinical respiratory therapy, preferably in acute care settings
- Strong understanding of airway management, ventilator settings, and oxygen therapy
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Experience with advanced respiratory equipment or specialized therapies
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and interdisciplinary team collaboration
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Care or a related healthcare field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience in a hospital or healthcare facility
Other Requirements:
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Valid drivers license and travel reimbursements available when applicable
