• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $69.33 $73.33 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night (3 12 Hours) 18:45 7:15; University campus: 7:00 7:30; Nashoba, Marlborough, and Memorial campuses: 6:45 7:15
• Travel Requirements: Will float between 4 campuses; primary shift expected at Nashoba at least 2 shifts/week. Distance between Nashoba and University/Memorial is approximately 45 minutes; Marlborough is in between.
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel/contract position supporting a multi-campus health system in Massachusetts. The primary assignment is at the Nashoba campus (Groton, MA), which is a freestanding ER where the RRT will primarily work independently. The candidate may float to one of 3 other campuses (Marlborough, University Worcester, and Memorial Worcester) with advanced notice. This position is only accepting start dates for the posted start time; earlier start times will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Work independently as an RRT at the Nashoba freestanding ER location
• Float between up to 4 campuses as required, with primary shift expected at Nashoba at least 2 shifts/week
• Provide Adult Critical Care and Pediatric care, including care for pediatric trach patients
• Utilize Epic for charting
• Adhere to weekend (EOW/EOH) and holiday coverage requirements

Education Requirements

• MA RRT License required substitutes accepted as long as the MA RRT license is applied for within 24 hours of offer
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) preferred

Required Experience

• 2 3 years of experience required
• Must have Adult Critical Care experience
• Must have Pediatric experience
• Must have experience with pediatric trachs
• Level I experience is required
• Accepts first-time travelers if they have the required clinical experience

Required Skills

• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to work independently in a freestanding ER setting
• Ability to float between multiple campuses
• Availability for weekend (EOW/EOH) and holiday coverage

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Multi-campus float role: Nashoba (Groton, MA), Marlborough, University (Worcester, MA), and Memorial (Worcester, MA)
• Primary campus: Nashoba freestanding ER; RRT works primarily independently at this location
• May float to one of 3 other campuses with advanced notice
• Night shift (3 12 hours); schedule varies slightly by campus
• Weekend requirement: EOW/EOH
• Flu vaccine required medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
• COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
