How you'll make an impact in this role

• Drive clinical excellence by establishing clear departmental goals that elevate patient care standards and align with the health system''s vision.
• Coordinate holistic patient care journeys through active collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, physicians and families to ensure superior clinical outcomes.
• Empower and lead clinical staff through active mentorship, transparent performance management and effective scheduling to cultivate an engaged team.
• Optimize unit operations by managing departmental budgets, vendor partnerships and regulatory standards to maintain a safe, resource-efficient care environment.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• One or more of the following:

• Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate''s degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
