Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1660 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Respiratory Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Level 3 NICU experience required; candidates with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience will be considered.

Special Requests:
Night-shift parking is across the street at Oak Field Medical Plaza or in the parking garage.

Unit Details:
The unit is a Level 3 NICU.
NICU is generally staffed with 2 respiratory therapists to cover the 36-bed unit during peak volumes.
Typical procedures include attending high-risk deliveries, ventilator management with conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, surfactant administration, blood gas acquisition and interpretation, and nitric oxide administration.
Equipment includes Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A oscillators, Mallinckrodt nitric oxide and Vapotherms.
Uses NeoNotes.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend and holidays are worked in rotation with hospital employees.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required
