Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1840 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Newborn experience required.

Required Credentials: Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) accepted as an alternative to Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

Unit Details: Patient population includes all age groups. Uses various respiratory equipment. Provides education to patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications. Performs respiratory treatments and testing. Assists with developing plans for successful discharges. Performs various testing, including EKGs and 6 MWTs. Work includes both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Shift & Scheduling: 7 nights on, 7 nights off. Holiday coverage required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
