Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2700 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 5 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 5 years of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted. Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians.

Required Skills/Experience: 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility. Recent critical care experience in both NICU and PICU is required. Familiarity with lung protective ventilation is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level III NICU experience preferred. Experience with Drager XL and v500 ventilators preferred.

Unit Details: Participates on the Code Blue team. Able to make ventilator decisions based upon patient assessment and laboratory results.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• RRT-NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty) or the alternative certification RRT-ACCS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
