Aramark Nexus is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager for the Angry Armadillo, our aerospace-themed restaurant at Caprock Workforce Community in Mobeetie, Texas, just outside Pampa.

This position is physically located at Caprock and requires employees to work on-site. We welcome qualified candidates from across the United States and provide relocation assistance, along with free on-site housing and meals.

Caprock is a large-scale workforce housing and hospitality community supporting the construction of hyperscale data centers and major infrastructure projects. Our residents rely on Nexus for comfortable accommodations, quality dining, recreation, and essential services while working away from home.

The Angry Armadillo is an important part of that experience, giving residents a place to enjoy a great meal, relax, and connect after a long day.

As Restaurant Assistant Manager, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations, develop employees, oversee guest service, and ensure a consistently excellent dining experience. Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in leading daily operations at the Angry Armadillo, ensuring excellent guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.

• Lead front-of-house operations, including employee assignments, guest experience, dining room readiness, and service execution.

• Supervise, train, coach, and develop restaurant employees while building a positive, accountable team culture.

• Coordinate staffing schedules, shift briefings, and daily service priorities to maintain efficient restaurant operations.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and applicable health regulations.

• Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to concerns, and implement improvements to service quality.

• Assist with restaurant financial performance, including labor costs, food costs, inventory, waste reduction, and operating expenses.

• Oversee inventory ordering, receiving, storage, and supply management.

• Partner with culinary leadership to coordinate food production, menu execution, and consistent service standards.

• Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, profitability, and employee engagement.

• Support special events, resident dining needs, and broader Caprock hospitality operations.

• Step into restaurant leadership responsibilities as needed to maintain consistent service across shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience.

• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

• Experience supporting front-of-house restaurant operations and delivering excellent customer service.

• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.

• Understanding of restaurant operations, sanitation standards, food safety, and cost controls.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Experience with employee scheduling, inventory, or labor management preferred.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

• Must be willing to relocate to Mobeetie, Texas, and live and work on-site at Caprock Workforce Community.
