What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Catering & Restaurant Sales Manager for our luxury resort property. The primary focus of this role is to actively scout and secure group and sub-group bookings looking for unique, premium restaurant dining experiences rather than traditional banquet halls.

Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director, you will manage the entire event lifecycle for groups of 15 or more guests—from strategic prospecting and luxury site tours to menu development and post-event follow-up. This role requires seamless cross-departmental collaboration with the resort's hotel sales team, culinary directors, and operations leaders to deliver world-class guest experiences and drive premium food and beverage revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Active Sales & Resort Prospecting

• • Actively hunt and seek out groups, corporate clients, VIP sub-groups, and luxury leisure travelers to host private or semi-private events in our upscale restaurant venues.
  • Partner closely with the in-house resort sales team to leverage hotel group blocks, convention leads, and existing corporate contacts.
  • Utilize Delphi to log leads, track sales pipelines, and manage contract agreements efficiently.

Inquiry & Event Management

• • Serve as the main point of contact for all restaurant venue event inquiries for groups of 15 guests or more.
  • Maintain real-time venue availability and cover counts by seamlessly coordinating with restaurant podiums using OpenTable.
  • Conduct elite site inspections and upscale menu tastings for potential high-net-worth clients and event planners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• • Work hand-in-hand with Restaurant Leaders, the Food & Beverage Director, and Executive Chefs to review space availability, floor layouts, and station logistics.
  • Ensure all tailored tasting menus, wine pairings, and luxury bar setups meet five-star standards and align with the resort's brand.
  • Deliver comprehensive banquet event orders (BEOs) and conduct pre-event briefings with kitchen and service teams.

Event Execution & Five-Star Hospitality

• • Handle the physical venue booking log and coordinate table/space allocations with restaurant managers.
  • Personally welcome group hosts and VIPs upon arrival at the venue, delivering standard-setting luxury resort hospitality.
  • Maintain a presence during high-profile event transitions to ensure flawless service execution and guest satisfaction.

Financial Administration & Client Retention

• • Coordinate contract billing, client deposits, final payments, and resort room charges accurately with the Finance Department.
  • Conduct timely post-event follow-ups with organizers to evaluate guest satisfaction and collect feedback.
  • Maintain relationships with group hosts to secure recurring corporate business and luxury referrals.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in luxury hospitality sales, resort event management, or high-end F&B group sales.

Technical Skills:

• • Proficiency with Delphi (sales and catering CRM) is required.
  • Proficiency with OpenTable (or similar upscale reservation software) is required.
  • Strong command of standard office systems (Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace).

Core Competencies:

• • Proven track record in B2B corporate prospecting and closing premium event contracts.
