The Big Biscuit is currently serving 32 locations in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma!


What You'll Be Doing: 

Direct Operational Management, Leadership & Staff Development, and Champion Positive Guest Relations
  • Direct and oversee all front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations to ensure efficient, high‑quality service.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Execute and enforce opening and closing procedures in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain product quality, service flow, and brand standards across all operational areas.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, waste control, and product rotation.
  • Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of all equipment and facilities.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard qualified team members and supervisors.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action in alignment with company policies.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment that supports employee engagement and retention.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and manage labor deployment to meet business needs.
  • Lead by example and reinforce adherence to company standards, policies, and expectations.
  • Ensure all guests receive exceptional service consistent with The Big Biscuit’s hospitality standards.
  • Respond to and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Promote a welcoming environment and build positive relationships with guests and the local community.
Administrative Responsibilities
  • Oversee scheduling, labor management, and completion of required operational and financial reports.
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliation, deposits, and adherence to financial controls.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve operational and financial performance.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records as required by company policy and regulatory agencies.

 What Makes You a Great Fit:
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high‑volume environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance and operational metrics.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working early mornings, weekends, and holidays are required.
Physical & Lifting Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8–10 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds regularly (e.g., cases of product, small equipment, supplies).
  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive motions as required for operational tasks.
  • Ability to safely navigate a fast‑paced dining room, kitchen, and service environment.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures, including warm kitchen areas and cooler storage spaces.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including handling paperwork, operating POS systems, and assisting with food service tasks.
