Restaurant Line Cook

The Restaurant Line Cook plays a crucial role in our small kitchen team, primarily working in a Thai kitchen environment under the direction of the Head Chef. This position requires expertise in Asian wok cooking techniques and proficiency with kitchen tools such as woks and fryers. The role involves maintaining high standards of food preparation, quality, and sanitation while supporting the overall kitchen operations with teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards
• Set up cooking stations to ensure efficient workflow
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages
• Maintain quality control to ensure dishes meet taste and presentation standards
• Adhere to sanitation and kitchen safety guidelines
• Perform regular equipment maintenance and cleaning daily in all kitchen area
• Collaborate effectively with other team members
• Assist with shift support and additional kitchen duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety handling and sanitation standards
• Proficient in food preparation and knife skills
• Strong kitchen safety awareness
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail in food quality and presentation

Preferred Qualifications
