We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our growing team and play an important role in the day-to-day success of our restaurant.
This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team, creating an exceptional guest experience, and making sure the restaurant operates at a high standard from open to close.
The Restaurant Manager works closely with the ownership and management team and is responsible for leading restaurant operations, supporting employees, maintaining service and food-quality standards, and helping drive sales, labor, and profitability goals.
This is a hands-on management position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable leading from the front, making decisions in a fast-paced environment, and holding themselves and the team accountable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead Restaurant Operations- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure the restaurant is ready for service.
- Lead opening, shift-change, and closing procedures.
- Monitor service flow, staffing levels, and overall restaurant performance.
- Ensure company standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.
- Help manage inventory, product availability, waste, and proper storage.
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, equipment, and overall appearance.
- Help achieve sales, labor, service, and profitability goals.
Lead & Develop the Team- Provide hands-on leadership and direction to restaurant employees.
- Lead by example and create a positive, respectful, team-oriented workplace.
- Coach employees and provide feedback when needed.
- Support employee training, onboarding, and development.
- Help hold team members accountable for attendance, performance, appearance, conduct, and company standards.
- Work closely with Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, FOH, and BOH teams to maintain strong communication and teamwork.
Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience- Ensure guests receive friendly, professional, and consistent service.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Resolve service issues within company guidelines.
- Maintain a welcoming and energetic presence throughout the restaurant.
Maintain Food Safety & Restaurant Standards- Ensure food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and health department standards are followed.
- Monitor proper food handling, storage, preparation, and temperature control.
- Address food quality, cleanliness, or safety concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment.
Support Financial & Administrative Operations- Follow proper cash-handling and POS procedures.
- Monitor discounts, voids, comps, refunds, and other POS transactions.
- Assist with cash procedures, deposits, reports, and reconciliation.
- Complete required reports, checklists, and operational documentation.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and coverage needs.
- Communicate operational issues, staffing concerns, and opportunities to the ownership and management team.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: - Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional, dependable, and accountable approach to leadership.
- Ability to work effectively with both FOH and BOH teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous restaurant management experience preferred.
- Experience with POS systems, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and labor management preferred.
- Food safety certification preferred or required as applicable.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES:This position requires approximately 55 hours per week and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other high-volume periods as business needs require.
The Restaurant Manager will assist at multiple restaurant locations and may support operations across multiple affiliated companies as business needs require.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, lift, carry, and move items associated with restaurant operations. The position requires working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and may involve exposure to heat, cold, noise, food preparation equipment, cleaning products, and wet floors.
