Position Summary
The Managing Partner is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant by leading daily operations, developing a high-performing team, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role oversees all front and back of house operations, drives financial performance, ensures food quality and safety standards, and creates a positive culture for both team members and guests.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who leads by example, builds strong teams, and is passionate about hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Lead all daily restaurant operations, including front and back of house.
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members and managers.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring excellent food, service, and hospitality.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Monitor restaurant performance and drive sales, profitability, and productivity.
- Manage labor, food, and operating costs while meeting financial goals.
- Oversee inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety standards, and health department regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe restaurant environment.
- Coach managers and team members through performance feedback and development.
- Build strong relationships within the local community and represent the Glory Days Grill brand.
- Partner with restaurant leadership and support teams to achieve company goals.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
- Strong leadership and development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience managing labor, food cost, and restaurant financial performance.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and make sound decisions.
- Guest-focused with a passion for hospitality.
