About the Role: 
Perkins Griddle & Go in Flemington, NJ is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team! Responsibilities: 

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to maintain high performance and service standards
• Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and employee onboarding and training
• Handle guest concerns and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and minimize waste
• Open and/or close the restaurant, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting

Requirements:
 

• 1+ years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or lead role preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment
• Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Customer-focused mindset with a positive, hands-on attitude
