Restoration Project Coordinator
In-Office | Brooklyn, NY | Full-Time | Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $50,000 – $70,000]/year, based on experience


This is a 100% in-person role at our Brooklyn office. We are not hiring remote candidates or anyone outside the NYC area.


Who we are
SERVPRO Team Allen operates six SERVPRO franchises covering all five boroughs. We handle water, fire, mold, and storm losses for homeowners, building managers, and commercial properties, and we rebuild what gets damaged. We’re growing fast and taking on larger commercial and residential projects, and we’re adding people who want to grow with us.


The role
When a pipe bursts in a high-rise or a fire hits a brownstone, our crews handle the field. You make sure everything behind them runs right. You’ll own job files from first call to final payment: keeping customers informed, working with insurance adjusters, making sure documentation is complete, and keeping our Project Managers moving. Internally we call this the Job File Coordinator. Think of it as the person who makes sure every job gets done right and gets paid.


What you’ll do

• Manage active job files from start to close, tracking status, timelines, and next steps daily
• Be the main point of contact for customers, adjusters, and property managers
• Review photos, moisture readings, and field documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Build preliminary estimates in Xactimate (we’ll train the right person)
• Schedule crews and support Project Managers on multiple jobs at once
• Follow up on approvals, paperwork, and outstanding items so nothing stalls

What we’re looking for

• Experience in restoration, construction, insurance claims, or property management is a big plus
• 1+ year in an office, customer service, or coordinator role
• Highly organized and able to juggle a lot without dropping details
• Clear, confident communicator by phone and email
• Comfortable with computers; Xactimate experience is a strong plus
• Must live within commuting distance of our Brooklyn office
