    Description

    Overview:

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Restorative Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing the quality of life for our residents through restorative nursing practices. As a Restorative Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and overseeing individualized care plans aimed at promoting independence, mobility, and overall wellness.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess residents' needs and develop comprehensive restorative nursing care plans.
    2. Implement restorative nursing interventions to promote and maintain residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
    3. Provide hands-on assistance, guidance, and education to nursing staff on proper techniques for transferring, ambulation, and activities of daily living.
    4. Monitor residents' progress regularly and adjust care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
    5. Document all interventions, progress, and changes in residents' condition accurately and timely.
    6. Conduct regular assessments of mobility, range of motion, and functional abilities, and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
    7. Coordinate with rehabilitation therapists to integrate restorative nursing activities with therapy goals.
    8. Educate residents and family members on restorative nursing programs and strategies for maintaining independence.
    9. Maintain a safe and supportive environment conducive to restorative care practices. 10. Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in restorative nursing and incorporate them into clinical practice.

    Qualifications:

    1. Current RN license in the state of practice.
    2. Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
    3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
    4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    6. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
    7. Knowledge of restorative nursing principles and techniques.
    8. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
