Investment Banking Analyst | Restructuring & Special Situations
A leading investment banking advisory firm is seeking an Analyst to join its Restructuring & Special Situations practice. This is an opportunity to work on complex and high-impact transactions involving stressed and transitional businesses, while gaining exposure to a broad range of advisory assignments across multiple industries. Analysts work closely with senior bankers and play an integral role in live transaction execution.
Key Responsibilities
Support the execution of restructuring, recapitalization, and distressed M&A transactions
Assist with debt and equity financing assignments
Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction-related deliverables
Conduct company, industry, and market research to support advisory engagements
Participate in due diligence efforts and assist with transaction execution
Work directly with senior bankers and contribute as a key member of lean deal teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong academic record
1-3 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, valuation, transaction advisory, or a related financial services role
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
Solid understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and financial statement analysis
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and work ethic
Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients across all levels of an organization
