Investment Banking Analyst | Restructuring & Special Situations

A leading investment banking advisory firm is seeking an Analyst to join its Restructuring & Special Situations practice. This is an opportunity to work on complex and high-impact transactions involving stressed and transitional businesses, while gaining exposure to a broad range of advisory assignments across multiple industries. Analysts work closely with senior bankers and play an integral role in live transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of restructuring, recapitalization, and distressed M&A transactions
• Assist with debt and equity financing assignments
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
• Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction-related deliverables
• Conduct company, industry, and market research to support advisory engagements
• Participate in due diligence efforts and assist with transaction execution
• Work directly with senior bankers and contribute as a key member of lean deal teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong academic record
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, valuation, transaction advisory, or a related financial services role
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Solid understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and financial statement analysis
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and work ethic
• Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients across all levels of an organization
