Shattuck Ace Hardware is a locally owned, community‑focused hardware store located in Arlington, MA where it has served the community for generations. We’re seeking reliable, customer‑focused Cashiers to join our team.
We are looking for someone to work weekdays.
Responsibilities
-Provide friendly, professional customer service
-Greet and assist customers at checkout
-Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately
-Maintain clean, organized checkout and entrance areas
-Stock impulse items and assist with front‑end displays
-Support store promotions and communicate with team members
Qualifications
-Customer service or cashier experience preferred (training provided)
-Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
-Basic computer/register skills a plus
-Ability to stand for shifts and lift up to 25 lbs
-Professional and courteous demeanor
Schedule
-Full‑time and part‑time positions available
-Day shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
-Weekend availability required
