Retail Development Specialist Selling Assistant

The Retail Development Specialist Selling Assistant assists customers and sales associates at major department stores.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Additional duties may be assigned.

• Provides product knowledge
• Assists customers with viewing product
• Sells the product to customers
• Assists department store associates with completing sales transaction

Qualifications and experience:

• Sales experience, preferably in a watch or jewelry setting
• Ability to work with others
• Customer service skills – sensitivity and patience
• Must be thorough and pay attention to detail
• Must have good verbal communication skills

Physical demands:

The employee is required to stand for long periods of time. The job may frequently involve stooping, kneeling, crouching.
