Retail Pharmacy Technician

Performs technical support for all Retail Pharmacy services and will effectively function within all areas of Retail Pharmacy operations. This will include interpreting and entering physician orders / prescriptions, utilizing pharmacy software and point of sale applications, performing insurance billing / crediting functions, managing drug inventory and distribution, being able to problem-solve, communicate effectively with patients and assisting the pharmacist as needed. Minimum Education High School diploma Minimum Work Experience Two years recent retail pharmacy experience. Required Licenses/Certifications Vermont State Pharmacy Technician Registration Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Willingness and ability to utilize personal vehicle for work related travel. Demonstrated logic and critical thinking for problem resolution. Excellent Customer Service skills. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruption. Detail Oriented. Demonstrates moderate knowledge of basic computer skills. Pay Range: $19.97 - 29.09
