Locally owned The UPS Store franchise is seeking candidates wishing to join an energetic team in providing world-class customer service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipments, operating copiers., fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point of sales devices. Responsibilities include expertly advising our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options. 

The ideal candidate has previous retail experience or evidence of working in an environment with a lot of people interactions. Strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a genuinely helpful demeanor, and professional appearance. Expectations are for fast learner who will make an effort to learn all aspects of the business. 

Responsibilities

• Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers
• Continuously practice good listening skills with customer and team members
• Accepts ownership of customer's shipping needs and offers viable solution
• Seeks to learn all products and services to better offer solutions to customers
• Develops competency in operating all equipment and software in the center
• Maintains a clean, organized, and professional workspace
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Retail customer service experience
• Good communication and people skills
• Ability to up-sell and cross-sell
• Excellent packing skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
• Strong phone skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible. 
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds

• Ability to understand and speak Spanish 
• Page layout and design experience 
• Print shop experience
• Shipping or logistic experience
