Retail Sales Associate

Our client, a retail company based in White Plains, is hiring part-time Retail Sales Associates to support daily store operations and customer service. This role is well suited to individuals who enjoy working directly with customers in a fast-paced retail environment and are looking for flexible scheduling.

Associates will assist customers with product selection, process transactions at the point of sale, and help maintain a clean and organized store floor. The role includes handling merchandise restocking, supporting seasonal promotions, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for every customer who enters the store.

This is a part-time, on-site position with shifts available across weekdays, evenings, and weekends. No prior retail experience is required, and training will be provided on store systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers throughout the store
• Operate point-of-sale systems to process purchases and returns
• Restock shelves and maintain visual merchandising standards
• Answer customer questions about products and store policies
• Support inventory counts and stockroom organization
• Assist with setup and breakdown of promotional displays
• Keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean and organized
• Process gift card and loyalty program transactions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Reliable and punctual with a professional appearance
• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
