This role analyzes financial data, investigates discrepancies, and supports the integrity of reporting processes across the property.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily audits of revenue and casino-related financial dataReview, analyze, and verify financial documents for accuracy and completenessResearch and investigate discrepancies, missing information, or variancesCompile and maintain supporting documentation for audit findingsPrepare and input daily revenue audit reports and supporting schedulesGenerate reports and review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliancePrepare journal entries and track coupons and variancesReconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepanciesMeet daily, weekly, and monthly reporting deadlinesPrepare, verify, and distribute daily operating reportsMaintain and update audit procedures and departmental checklistsMonitor financial activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal controlsProcess and analyze data from multiple sources for reconciliation and reporting requirementsMaintain accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial recordsParticipate in departmental meetings and contribute to continuous improvement effortsSupport a high level of internal service and operational excellencePerform additional duties as assignedQualifications & ExperienceRequired:Must be 21 years of age or olderHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceStrong organizational skills and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial softwareAbility to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports and documentsAbility to understand and apply company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsPreferred:Previous auditing experienceCasino or hospitality industry experienceKnowledge of audit methodologies and financial controlsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsPrimarily office-based with regular use of computers and financial systemsRequires prolonged periods of sitting and data analysisFrequent review of detailed financial documents and reportsRegular communication with team members and leadershipAbility to maintain focus and accuracy in a deadline-driven environmentScheduleSchedule varies based on business needsMust be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredWhy Join This Team?A mission-driven culture dedicated to economic advancement and community impactGuided by strong NATIVE values and tribal-owned purposeCareer stability and opportunities across diverse industriesA collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and professional growthOur Commitment to DiversityHo-Chunk, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
