Job Description:
Addison Group is hiring a Revenue Cycle Coordinator on behalf of one of our healthcare clients. This position supports day-to-day revenue cycle operations with a strong focus on payer accuracy, eligibility, and timely billing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable working within state-regulated programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review new admission records to confirm appropriate insurance coverage and payer designation
- Compile, validate, and submit initial Medicaid documentation in alignment with required state guidelines
- Perform recurring reviews of resident accounts to identify balance discrepancies or posting issues
- Prepare routine Medicaid billing and follow up on unpaid or pending claims
- Conduct ongoing eligibility verification to ensure coverage remains active and accurate
- Complete redetermination paperwork and ensure responses are submitted within required timelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or revenue cycle support
- Exposure to Medicaid or other public aid programs strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reconciling account data
- Experience within electronic health record systems is a plus
- Background in bookkeeping or financial data entry helpful but not required
