Job Description

General Summary:

The Revenue Senior Accountant focuses on accounting for the Company’s order-to-cash process and the delivery of accurate and timely financial information relating to certain product revenues, gross-to-net accounts and accounts receivable to meet the operational needs and internal and external reporting requirements of the North America Region. In addition to month end close responsibilities, this role will partner closely with members of Trade & Distribution, Government Pricing, and third-party vendors to monitor and report on accounts receivable and other customer support items. The role will also participate in project work including automation and data analytics initiatives, as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for order-to-cash process across multiple products. Responsibilities include:
  • Timely execution of the revenue accounting month-end close for product sales, certain gross-to-net accruals, and accounts receivable including preparation of journal entries and related account reconciliations
  • Delivery of accurate financial reporting for both internal and external requirements
  • Partnering with Trade & Distribution team on 3PL and customer-relationship management
  • Ensuring timely customer collections and dispute resolution
  • Supporting data processing accuracy and issue resolution with both third-party processors and internal and external customers on as needed basis
  • Reconcile certain input values utilized by the government pricing team for monthly pricing submissions, ensuring alignment with underlying accounting documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participating in the development of new systems, processes, and automations
  • Supporting integration of new product launches into the order-to-cash process
  • Preparing SOX documentation and testing for relevant areas
  • Providing data for external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Ability to collaborate across and within different levels of the organization

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Typically requires minimum of 2-3 years of related accounting experience in life sciences and/or Big 4 accounting firm preferred
  • CPA a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Oracle Financial Software and Accounts Receivable a plus

Pay Range:

$69,600 - $104,400

Disclosure Statement:

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
