Reverse Automotive Technician

About the OpportunityAs a Reverse Automotive Technician at EMR, you'll play a key role in our daily operations at our Eau Claire, WI location. In this role, you'll assist with end-of-life vehicle processing to prepare cars for the next step of the recycling process. You will also assist with operating equipment to load, unload, and transport material throughout the yard.Key Responsibilities

Process cars by draining fluids, removing batteries, and other hazardous materialsOperate forklift, skid steer, front-end loader safely to move scrap materialsOrganize product for efficient transportation and inventoryAssist with other yard tasks to maintain a clean and organized facility.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenanceMechanically inclined, organized and detail orientatedAbility to work both independently and on a teamAbility to lift and handle 50 pounds
