Revit Drafter

Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled Revit Drafter to support our engineering team by developing and maintaining accurate building models and construction drawings in Revit. This role is focused on drafting and documentation rather than engineering design. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of building construction and experience working with Revit. An architectural, construction, or contractor background would be a great fit. An engineering degree or engineering background is not required. This position will help free up our engineers from day-to-day drafting so they can focus more of their time on engineering, design, and project delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Create and modify building models and construction drawings using Revit
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and other construction documentation
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to translate design concepts into accurate Revit drawings
• Update drawings based on design changes and project requirements
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Maintain organized Revit models and project files
• Assist with drafting standards, templates, and documentation processes
• Coordinate drawing information with other project disciplines
• Help improve drafting workflows and efficiency within the team

• Experience using Revit in a professional environment
• Understanding of building construction and construction documents
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and/or engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with engineers and project teams
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional Revit experience
• Experience with commercial, institutional, or other building projects

• Experience working with engineering or architectural project teams
• AutoCAD experience is a plus
