SMART SAFE REWORK TECHNICIAN
LOCATION: Carrollton, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay: $18.00/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Overtime and weekend flexibility required as needed.

ROLE IMPACT: The Smart Safe Rework Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing field-returned smart safe components. This role supports product quality and operational efficiency by identifying equipment issues, restoring functional parts, and ensuring accurate testing and repair processes. Success requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while supporting team production goals.
KEY DUTIES
• Perform functional testing and troubleshooting on field-returned smart safe parts to determine operational condition.
• Inspect and test compromised field returns, warranty returns, and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) parts.
• Repair, retest, clean, and prepare designated parts for refurbishment according to established work instructions.
• Access company databases to retrieve software, technical documentation, and testing or repair information.
• Move materials to designated departments, maintain a clean and safe work area, and collaborate with team members to meet daily operational needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Basic computer skills, including navigating databases, retrieving technical information, and following digital work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow testing and repair procedures, and willingness to learn new technical processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, manage multiple priorities, and work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Previous experience with electronic equipment testing, mechanical assembly, or component repair.
• Familiarity with warranty returns, RMA processing, or product refurbishment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
