RF Engineer (Contract)
Active Secret Clearance RequiredLocation: Chelmsford, MA 01824(Onsite Full-Time)
Work Schedule: Second Shift (MondayThursday, 4:00 PM 2:30 AM)
Important Note: Selected contractors are required to train on First Shift (MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM) for the first 6 weeks before transitioning to Second Shift.
Duration: 12/7/2026 12/6/2027
Pay Rate: $70.00-97.12 / Hourly (OT40)
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
Support the production of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high-reliability applications across all product life-cycle phases.
Work on complex technical problems, providing innovative and ingenious solutions.
Act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with operational product implementation.
Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, and manufacturing support personnel.
Lead failure investigations on production or technical issues.
Qualifications & Requirements

| Education & Experience | Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or a STEM degree (accepted), plus 5+ years of relevant professional engineering experience (Level 3 equivalent: BS + 68 years or MS + 46 years). An MS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is a plus. |
| Core Technical Skills | Experience troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production/manufacturing environment.Hands-on hardware experience.Proficiency with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools. |
| Desired Expertise | Defense electronics industry background; expertise with RF subsystems and hardware (antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, LNAs, HPAs, mixers, switches, frequency generation/conversion circuits); microelectronics assembly techniques; and technical documentation (specifications, schematics, test data). |
