Job Description:
Deep understanding of EM basics, highspeed digital and high frequency RF transmission line modeling, S-parameters, time and frequency domain analysis and data measurements and correlation techniques
Knowledge and experience of using test instruments and programmable testers (Flying probe testers, or IC testers)
Knowledge of VNAs / PNAs. TDR and other measurement instruments
SOLT / SOLR / LRRM type calibration techniques
Knowledge of RF instruments, RF signal generator, power meters, RF spectrum analyzer etc.
Deep analytical skills to try to resolve issues and present solutions to different problems related to performance measurements for highspeed digital and High frequency RF
Excellent communicational skills, able to independently work with vendors to get support required for new equipment, equipment calibration, repairs, and debug
Excellent team player with good coaching skills
Responsibilities include:
S-parameter Measurements using RF test equipment, VNA/PNA and RF Testers
Measured performance data analysis, understand performance deviation, causes and errors in measurements
Tracking DUT board hardware, create reports for measured performance, correlate board design and simulations with measured performance on channels.
Failure analysis on high-speed interface channels using VNA, TDR and other tools
Working directly with FAB, assembly and test team to understand DFM, DFA and DFT requirements
