- Engineer high-frequency transmit and receive signal chains, including low-noise amplifiers, filtering solutions, impedance matching networks, and power amplifier integration.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize RF performance across complete system architectures.
- Develop validation strategies, test procedures, and performance qualification plans.
- Partner with software, infrastructure, and networking teams to support successful deployment and operation of RF systems.
- Collaborate within cross-functional engineering teams and drive projects through the full product lifecycle, from concept through manufacturing.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable regulatory, safety, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in RF engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience designing, testing, and debugging RF hardware and communication systems.
- Strong background in HF circuit design, filtering, impedance matching, amplifier characterization, and front-end architecture.
- Solid understanding of RF receiver performance metrics including gain, noise figure, linearity, stability, and isolation.
- Experience diagnosing issues in transmit and receive signal paths, including distortion mechanisms and unwanted coupling effects.
- Familiarity with EMI troubleshooting, EMC principles, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with board-level design, integration, and PCBA development.
- Proficiency using RF test and measurement equipment, with the ability to leverage scripting tools such as Python for automation, analysis, or hardware bring-up.
