RF Technician

Introduction

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for several RF Technician positions. These positions are direct hire opportunities located in Orlando, FL.

Summary

The RF Technician is responsible for tuning, testing, and verifying RF filters and oscillators and ensuring that they meet the customer's expectations. The technician will tune various RF filters, including, but not limited to lumped element (LC) filters, crystal, and cavity-based filters and/or RF oscillators including TCXOs, VCXOs and OCXOs. The RF technician will also perform various environmental tests as required to ensure compliance with the customer's
specifications. 

Job Description:

• Use of various test equipment: Network /spectrum analyzers, frequency
  counters, mixers, power meters, etc.
• Tune various RF filters, including, but not limited to lumped element (LC) filters,
  crystal, and cavity-based filters.
• Does basic oscillator set up for frequency and output power SOT components.
• Able to be self-sufficient in main work area.
• Updates tracking boards and various floor queues as needed.

Level I

• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits
• AS degree in electronics or equivalent experience (Military training, etc.)

Level II

• Two years of solder experience required. 

Level III

• Minimum of two years of technician experience, including mastery of difficult models.

Level IV

• Minimum of five (5) years of technical experience.

Level V

• Minimum of ten (10) years of advanced technician experience.
