What You'll Do & Bring

Make an Impact By:

• Diagnosing and treating autoimmune, inflammatory, and rheumatologic disorders
• Managing chronic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, osteoporosis, and related diseases
• Developing personalized treatment plans using evidence-based medicine
• Performing joint injections, aspirations, and other rheumatologic procedures
• Managing biologic therapies, DMARDs, and immunosuppressive medications
• Educating patients on disease management, prevention, and wellness strategies
• Collaborating with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, pharmacists, and care coordinators
• Supporting quality initiatives and patient-centered medical home standards

What You Bring:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
• Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship
• Current DEA registration or eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical, communication, and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Experience in an FQHC or community health center
• Experience serving underserved populations
• Bilingual in Spanish
