In this role, you will: ✅ Analyze claim trends, loss data, and root causes to identify opportunities for improvement ✅ Develop and present strategic risk management recommendations to municipal leaders and department heads ✅ Conduct on-site assessments of property, liability, fleet, and workers' compensation exposures ✅ Assist municipalities with implementing safety initiatives, policies, and best practices ✅ Deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and safety meetings ✅ Stay ahead of emerging risks and industry trends, helping to develop new resources and educational programs ✅ Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate with underwriting and marketing teams to support member success ✅ Conduct field-based coaching and training for municipal personnel What Makes You a Great Fit You are naturally curious, solutions-oriented, and enjoy helping organizations solve complex challenges. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in risk management, safety, loss control, or related fields Experience working with municipalities or public-sector organizations is highly desirable Bachelor's degree preferred Professional designations such as ARM, CSP, ASP, or ALCM are a plus Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, FM, and UL standards Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills Certifications in OSHA Compliance, First Aid/CPR Instruction, or Defensive Driving are desirable Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Central and Western Massachusetts Who We Are Cabot Risk Strategies is a leading provider of risk management, employee benefits, and insurance solutions.
