What You Bring to the Table:
- A valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum 5 years of operating room experience, preferably in cardiovascular surgery
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Preferably, certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) and completion of an RNFA program
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Windows applications and role-specific software
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Critical thinking and judgment skills to assist surgeons effectively
- Adaptability and positive attitude toward changing environments
Additional Qualifications That Shine:
- Certification as a CNOR
- Successful completion of an RNFA program
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- At least 5 years of relevant OR experience, with specific cardiothoracic surgical support
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work the day shift (8-hour shifts)
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Travel between healthcare facilities as needed
- Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potential infectious materials
- Valid licensure, certifications, and compliance with all health and safety regulations
