What Youll Do
- Provide patient care using the nursing process and applicable nursing standards.
- Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate care.
- Educate patients, families, and interdisciplinary groups based on individual learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the care team.
- Delegate, direct, and coordinate nursing and ancillary team resources appropriately.
- Promote quality patient outcomes, patient safety, and positive patient experiences.
- Maintain accurate professional accountability while supporting department goals and regulatory requirements.
What You Need
Required- Current registered nurse license in the state of practice.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification.
- RN diploma.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, interpersonal, and judgment skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred- Associate or bachelors degree in nursing.
- Certification in a clinical specialty area.
