Work Schedule: This full-time position is based at American Family Children's Hospital and is scheduled Monday through Friday, with core hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on departmental operational needs.

The RN Director, AFCH Operations is a high-impact leadership role shaping the future of pediatric specialty care through operational excellence, team development, and strategic growth.
We are seeking a - RN Director - American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH) to:
Provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for pediatric specialty services at American Family Children's Hospital
Oversees program growth, financial performance, and people management across the pediatric continuum of care
Leads specialized areas including Child Life, Pediatric Trauma & Child Advocacy, Ambulatory Pediatric Specialties, and the Diagnostic & Therapy Center
Drives operational efficiency, margin improvement, and ambulatory redesign initiatives
Leads and develops leaders (4 direct reports) with a strong focus on people management and change leadership
Partners closely with medical faculty and system stakeholders to ensure high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Administration, or related field Preferred
Work Experience
5 years relevant leadership experience Required
5 years relevant leadership experience in pediatrics Preferred
Experience in a large academic or complex healthcare system, including Level 1 Trauma Center services and pediatric surgical patients Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
