Required skills include: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patient, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, CVA/acute stroke management, external ventricular drain (EVD) management, ICP monitoring, lumbar drain management, post craniotomy and post neurosurgery management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, traumatic brain injury care, ventilator management, and spinal cord injury care.
