Global Placement Firm is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization seeking an experienced and dynamic RN Director of Inpatient Services. This is a full-time, leadership position designed for a dedicated nurse leader ready to make a meaningful impact on patient care and nursing excellence.

Position Summary

The RN Director of Inpatient Services provides leadership and operational oversight for inpatient nursing departments, including Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

This role supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care. The Director is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units, maintaining accountability for quality outcomes, staff competency, and resource management.

The position carries 24/7 operational responsibility for assigned departments and plays a key role in driving clinical excellence and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.

Education & Experience Requirements

Education

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Required: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Experience

• Required: Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting (Manager or full-time Charge Nurse or equivalent).

• Required: Strong background in Medical-Surgical nursing or related acute care leadership experience.

Licensure & Certifications

• Active RN license in the state of residence/practice (current and unrestricted).

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

• Additional certifications as required by state regulations or facility policy.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $108,000 $170,000 (USD)

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Benefits: Comprehensive (medical, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, etc.)

• Relocation Assistance: Possible for the ideal candidate

• Overtime Eligible: No

• Interview Travel: Reimbursed
