- The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals.
- The RN utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

- Ed main:
- Specializing in adult cardiac care and complex internal medicine, Client 33-bed emergency department includes some of the most experienced and trusted emergency care specialists in the area, including: board-certified emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, nurses, physician assistants and social workers.
- The department has a high acuity patient population and an all-RN nursing staff.
- It's a fast-paced environment and requires excellent critical thinking skills.
- The RN demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide age and culturally specific patient care and education.
- The RN effectively communicates with peers, utilizes appropriate channels of communication and maintains absolute confidentiality.
- The RN maintains competence and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth.
- The RN demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change and the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting.
Requirements:
- Diploma of Nursing.
- Preferred Education:
- BSN.
- Ohio RN License or Compact.
- BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
- ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
- PALS (American Heart Assoc.)
- Diploma of Nursing
- BSN
- Required certifications & licensure:
- Ohio RN License or Compact.
