Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $36.62- $54.93an hour - Full-Time Days, 36 hours per week +$2.50/hr forshifts. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse- Endo- who coordinates total nursing care for the Endoscopy and Peri-operative procedure patients. ACLS certification required within conditional period. Member of professional organizations encouraged Certification encouraged 1 year of endoscopy expierence required Responsibilities Provides safe, competent, effective nursing care in accordance with hospital, Pre / Post /PACUs standards of care, policies and procedures. When applicable, employees must be able to adjust the essential functions they perform appropriately to the age of their patient/customer. Demonstrates basic knowledge of care of the peri-operative/procedure patient. Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition. Reports pertinent observations or changes to appropriate physicians and/or clinical lead and implements emergency procedures as necessary. Demonstrates knowledge of arrhythmia recognition and treatment modalities. Administers medications and performs treatments as ordered. Maintains complete and accurate documentation. Ability to assess, treat and/or care for patients with regard to age. Endoscopy treats adolescent to geriatric. Actively seeks the participation of members of the health care team and patients family to ensure continuity of care. Prepares specimens and lab forms for laboratory analysis.
