What Youll Do
Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, utilizing the nursing process
Assess patients conditions and implement appropriate interventions
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Document patient care activities accurately and promptly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies
Manage triage and prioritize patient care during busy shifts
What You Need
Required:
Current RN license for Louisiana
BLS, CPI, ACLS, PALS certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency or acute care nursing
Proficiency with healthcare software and electronic documentation
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
Additional certifications in clinical specialties
Experience with pediatric or trauma care
