What Youll Do
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process.
- Assess patient, family, and group learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Delegate and manage nursing team resources appropriately.
- Use data and clinical information to evaluate care and support optimal outcomes.
- Adapt communication and care approaches to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
- Promote patient privacy, safety, satisfaction, and quality standards.
What You Need
Required- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current registered nurse license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Strong communication, organization, time-management, judgment, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications.
Preferred- Bachelors degree in nursing.
- Certification in a clinical specialty area.
