Job Title: RN – Float Pool
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: 3x12 Night Shifts
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Float Pool assignment in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong acute care nursing skills, excellent critical thinking abilities, and the flexibility to work across multiple patient care areas while delivering safe, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient conditions
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Communicate patient updates using SBAR and handoff processes
• Provide patient and family education based on care plans and patient needs
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and changing patient conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Implement infection prevention and patient safety measures
• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination activities
Requirements:
• Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License required
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required
• Diploma of Nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Strong acute care nursing experience preferred
