About the Role:MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking an experienced and dynamic RN House Supervisor to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This is a 13=week Contract. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a seasoned registered nurse ready to take charge, drive clinical excellence, and make a real impact across an entire facility. Responsibilities:- Provide administrative and clinical oversight of all nursing units during assigned shifts
- Coordinate patient flow, bed management, and staffing assignments across departments
- Serve as the on-site nursing leadership resource for staff, physicians, and ancillary teams
- Respond to and manage clinical emergencies, codes, and rapid response situations
- Monitor and ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety protocols
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication and collaboration to optimize patient care delivery
- Mentor and support nursing staff, providing real-time guidance and performance feedback
Requirements:- Active RN license in the state of California (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Prior charge nurse, supervisory, or house supervisor experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of patient flow, staffing management, and bed coordination
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and lead effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
