Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to provide leadership coverage during a medical leave of absence. This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in a long-term acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across the facility
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care
Act as the primary point of contact for clinical and operational issues during shift
Enforce compliance with Joint Commission standards and facility policies
Support staff with clinical decision-making and problem resolution
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Monitor workflow, staffing, and patient care activities
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of acute care supervisory experience
Strong understanding of Joint Commission standards
Proven leadership and team management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Education
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
Certifications & Licensure
Active New York State RN License
License verification through NYSED
AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
