Pay Rate: $50-57/hour
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St. Mary's Healthcare in Amsterdam, NY.

The RN will provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients, monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license.

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

• Previous travel nursing experience required.

• Travel contract renewals preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients.

• Develop and implement patient care plans.

• Administer medications and prescribed treatments.

• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient conditions.

• Coordinate patient care with physicians and healthcare teams.

• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.

• Float to the Medical-Surgical (MS) unit as needed.
