PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intermediate Care team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals requiring a higher level of monitoring and treatment than a medical-surgical unit, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor and manage patients in a progressive care/step-down setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with professional nursing standards.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement, and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
• One year of recent (within the past 36 months) Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, or Step-Down RN experience, or currently oriented and independently practicing within the department

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Additional acute care nursing experience

Certifications

• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire
