RN Labor and Delivery

Traveler RN needed within the Labor & Delivery department to provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth process. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (3 days/12-hour shifts), 36 hours/week.

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns from labor and delivery through immediate recovery and postpartum care
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being
• Administer medications
• Coach patients through labor and assist during delivery
• Educate families on infant care
• Act as baby RN and remain comfortable working in the OR setting
• Work within Burdett\s LDRP model (Level 1 with special care nursery) and St. Peter\s Hospital\s Level 3 alignment
