RN Responsibilities
RN duties may include:
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
- Developing and coordinating patient care plans
- Administering medications and treatments
- Supervising LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
- Communicating with physicians and advanced providers
- Providing wound care and other nursing treatments
- Responding to patient emergencies
- Completing assessments and required documentation
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting changes
- Providing leadership and support to the healthcare team
LPN Responsibilities
LPN duties may include:
- Administering medications
- Monitoring and documenting patient conditions
- Providing wound care
- Collecting specimens
- Coordinating patient care
- Communicating with physicians and advanced providers
- Monitoring intake and output
- Providing basic tracheostomy care
- Supervising CNAs and other unlicensed personnel
- Responding to patient emergencies
- Completing required documentation and logs
CNA Responsibilities
CNA duties may include:
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living
- Bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Dressing and toileting assistance
- Feeding and hydration assistance
- Taking and recording vital signs
- Ambulating and transferring patients
- Positioning and repositioning patients
- Making beds and maintaining a clean environment
- Assisting with range-of-motion exercises
- Reporting changes in patient condition to the nurse
Requirements
RN
- Active RN License
- Facility-based experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR
- PPD/TB screening within the past year
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend without restrictions
LPN
- Active LPN License
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
- Current BLS/CPR
- PPD/TB screening within the past year
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend without restrictions
CNA
- Active CNA License
- Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience
- Current BLS/CPR
- PPD/TB screening within the past year
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend without restrictions
